NEA announces power cut in parts of Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that electricity will be cut in several areas of Kathmandu today from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM today (Friday).

The affected areas include Naikap, Balambu, Chundevi, Khahare, Daschowk, and other locations under the Balambu Substation Thankot feeder.

The power cut is necessary for technical installation work, NEA said.

The NEA has apologized for any inconvenience caused to residents in these areas.

If the work is completed ahead of schedule, electricity will be restored earlier than the planned time, it said.
