Gandaki CM Adhikari assigns portfolios to Deepak Manange and Hari Chuman

KATHMANDU: Gandaki Province Chief Minister Khagaraj Adhikari has assigned ministerial responsibilities to non-portfolio ministers Deepak Manange and Hari Bahadur Chuman on Saturday.

Independent lawmaker Manange and CPN-Maoist Center’s provincial parliamentary party leader Chuman, who were appointed as ministers without portfolio on April 7, have been given specific roles.

According to Chief Minister Adhikari’s secretariat, Chuman has been entrusted with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, while Manange has been assigned the Ministry for Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport.

Out of the nine ministries in the province, seven remain under the purview of Chief Minister Adhikari.
