KARNALI: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yam Lal Kandel, emphasized that physical infrastructure alone is inadequate to serve the public.
He highlighted that a mindset geared toward public service is essential for ensuring the satisfaction of service seekers.
CM Kandel made these remarks during the inauguration of a hospital building in Manma, the headquarters of Kalikot.
He stated, “Every sector must deliver services according to public needs. Merely having attractive infrastructure will not change people’s lifestyles.”
He underscored the importance of effective service delivery in contributing to the national goals of development and prosperity.
The Chief Minister noted that the provincial government can only deliver services based on its capabilities.
He remarked, “Prosperity is achievable only through the responsible behavior of both citizens and the government.”
Kandel also urged doctors and health workers to view their service as an opportunity for study and research.
