Women cooperatives’ dairy establishes sales counter



DAMAULI (TANAHU): The Chakrawarti Social Entrepreneur Women Cooperatives Limited has set up a dairy sales counter at Town chowk of Devghat Rural Municipality-5.

The sales counter has been set up to ease the sale and distribution of our dairy products including milk, curd, ghee, paneer, ice cream, etc., said Manager of the Cooperatives Sangita Ojha.

The cooperatives has been carrying out monthly transaction of one million rupees in dairy products.

The cooperatives collects 570 litres of milk every day. The milk is being sold through dairy shops in Narayagadh, Bharatpur, Muglin, Hetauda, Kawasoti and Gaindakot, among others.

The cooperatives, run by women, has been linking its members to dairy business, as well as animal husbandry, vegetable farming and in collective cash crops.
