KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has stated that since the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, heavy rainfall is likely across the country today.
Currently, the weather is generally cloudy across the nation with light to moderate rainfall occurring in scattered locations of the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
During this afternoon, the weather is expected to range from partly to mostly cloudy nationwide.
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in several areas across all provinces.
Additionally, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two locations in the Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy throughout the country.
There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in parts of the Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in a few areas of other provinces.
