KATHMANDU: Nepal Student Union (NSU), the student organization affiliated with the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC), has organized a protest march against the policy-level corruption allegedly associated with the cooperative scam and Giribandhu Tea Estate Jhapa.

On Sunday afternoon, NSU conducted a demonstration against the government in Maitighar.

During their protests, the NSU cadres were holding various placards, including few targeting Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli.

NC has been obstructing the Parliament demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee against Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane for the latter’s alleged involvement in cooperatives-related fraud.
