Various areas in Lalitpur to face six-hour power outage today

LALITPUR: The Lagankhel distribution center of the Nepal Electricity Authority said that there will be a temporary disruption of power supply today from 10 am to 4 pm in various locations of Lalitpur.

The interruption is necessary to facilitate the pulling of the composite feeder on the Chapagaon feeder line, extending from Chibhal Gate to Simako Chowk.

According to the Authority, the affected areas include wards number 11, 12, 13, 5, and 6 of the Godavari municipality, where electricity will be temporarily disconnected.

Likewise, the power lines are expected to be temporarily cut in Lele, Tikabhairav, Nallu, Chapagaon, Takhel, Thecho, Jharuvarasi, and other neighboring regions.

The Nepal Electricity Authority has assured residents that if the maintenance work concludes before the stipulated time, the power supply may resume earlier than the announced 4 pm deadline.
