Qatar’s support sought in infrastructure development of Kanti Hospital



KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has urged Government of Qatar to help in infrastructure development of Kanti Children’s Hospital.

During a meeting with Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal, Mishaal Bin Mohamed Ali Al-Ansari on Wednesday, Minister Paudel said he expected supports of the Government of Qatar in physical infrastructure construction of the hospital.

The Health Ministry has prepared a detailed project report to construct infrastructures including building to expand hospital services.

The Kanti Hospital is the biggest hospital in the country providing treatment to children.

In this context, Health Minister Paudel expected supports of Qatar.

According to personal secretariat of the Health Minister, Qatari Ambassador has expressed the commitment to provide possible support to expand areas of mutual cooperation, adding that his country has kept Nepal in its priority for cooperation.
