Gold price drops by Rs 700 today, silver sees modest decline



KATHMANDU: Gold prices, which had increased on Monday and Tuesday, have decreased today, and silver prices have also dropped in the domestic market.

The price of gold, which rose by Rs 600 over the past two days (Monday and Tuesday), has fallen by Rs 700 per tola today.

As of today, gold is priced at Rs 150,700 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.

Last Monday, the price of gold increased by Rs 400 per tola, and by another Rs 200 per tola on Tuesday.

In contrast, gold prices had decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola in a single day last Sunday.

The price of silver has also decreased today. After remaining stable for the past three days, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 5 per tola, bringing it to Rs 1,835.
