KATHMANDU: The eastern part of Nepal is currently affected by the monsoon system.
The rest of the country is partially influenced by a low-pressure area around Bihar, India, along with local effects.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is currently occurring in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
This afternoon, partly to mostly cloudy conditions will prevail over Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the region is expected to remain mostly clear.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the rest of the country, including Madhes province.
Tonight, partly to mostly cloudy conditions will continue over Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
