KATHMANDU: In a commanding performance at the PM Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament on Thursday, the Tribhuwan Army Club secured a resounding nine-wicket victory against Koshi Province.
Having won the toss, Tribhuwan Army Club earlier restricted Koshi Province to 88 runs in 24.4 overs.
In pursuit of the modest target of 89 runs, the Army achieved victory in just 9.5 overs.
Santosh Karki played a crucial role, contributing 32 runs with six fours and one six.
Opener Imran Sheikhs also added 32 runs with five fours and one six, while Kushal Malla chipped in with 22 runs.
Shahab Alam’s impactful bowling performance was instrumental in Tribhuwan Army Club’s triumph, as he played a pivotal role in taking wickets during the match.
