KATHMANDU: Passengers on the Chandragiri Cable Car have become stranded due to an electricity outage.

The power disruption has left passengers stuck in the cable car cabins.

As it will take some time to restore the electricity, preparations are being made to rescue the stranded passengers.

DSP Shailendra Thapa, the assistant spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, stated that an 11-member team from the Pashupatinath Battalion No. 9 has been dispatched to Chandragiri for the rescue operation.
