PM Dahal optimistic about budget passage from Parliament

CHITWAN: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda expressed satisfaction with the budget presented for the upcoming fiscal year, emphasizing its overall favorability.

Speaking to reporters at Bharatpur Airport on Monday, PM Dahal asserted that the policy program and budget for the next year are beneficial for both the people and the nation.

“I believe this budget will receive approval from the House of Representatives,” he confidently stated.

Highlighting the government’s strides in enhancing good governance, justice, and social prosperity, Pm Dahal described the current administration’s performance as commendable.

“While the government’s efforts are satisfactory, there’s a need to accelerate progress in line with national and public expectations,” he remarked.

Dismissing speculations about the removal of Nepal Police Inspector General Basanta Kunwar, PM Daha clarified that such claims were mere rumors.

“I recently communicated with the heads of our three security agencies, urging them to continue their work with confidence,” he disclosed.

Assuring stability within the security sector, PM Dahal affirmed, “I spoke with all three IGPs and assured them that their roles remain unchanged amidst baseless rumors.”
