ANFA’s Vice Chairman Dawa Lama arrested on drug charges



KATHMANDU: Dawa Lama, Vice Chairman of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), has been apprehended by police in Kathmandu.

The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office confirmed Lama’s arrest, revealing that he was taken into custody in connection with a drug-related case.

Lama, who had been evading authorities, was found to be a fugitive in a drug case.

He had been sentenced to five years in prison by the then Patan Appeal Court in 2064 BS for his involvement in the drug offense.
