Fire in mill causes loss of 15 million in Pathari



MORANG: A fire broke out at the Koshi bitten rice mill at Buddha Chowk of Pathari Shanishare municipality-1 last night causing a loss of Rs 15 million.

The fire broke out in the mill at around midnight, gutting all the grains stored along with the machinery of the mill.

Fire engines from Pathari Shanishchare, Urlabari, Kanepokhari and Belbari municipalities were used to extinguish the fire.

The locals, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel also contributed to bringing the fire under control.

Pathari police office said the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
