KATHMANDU: In the ongoing ICC CWC League 2 match hosted by Nepal, the Netherlands managed to score 72 runs while losing four wickets in the 20 overs.

The 50 overs match, taking place at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, saw Nepal winning the toss and opting to bowl first, effectively limiting the Dutch batsmen from posting a high total.

Nepal’s bowlers made early breakthroughs with Sompal Kami dismissing a Dutch opener in the third ball of the first over, keeping them from opening their scoring account.

Additionally, another Netherlands opener was run out after contributing 10 runs to the team’s total.

Lalit Rajbanshi also made significant contributions by claiming two wickets for Nepal.

Notably, Nepal had faced a defeat in their first ICC League 2 match against Namibia, losing by four wickets.
