KATHMANDU: Nepal, after winning the toss, elected to bowl first against the Netherlands in the second match of the ICC CWC League 2.

During the initial powerplay, Nepal applied significant pressure on the Dutch batsmen, limiting them to 28 runs while capturing two crucial wickets.

Sompal Kami struck early in the third ball of the first over, dismissing one of the Netherlands’ opening batsmen before they could score.

Additionally, another Dutch opener fell victim to a run-out after contributing 10 runs to the team’s total.

The match is currently unfolding at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Nepal faced a defeat in the opening match of the ICC League 2 against Namibia, losing by four wickets.
