KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for today (Wednesday).
In comparison to yesterday’s trading, the value of the US dollar has increased today, whereas some other foreign currencies, such as the euro and the pound, have experienced a decline.
Today’s fixed buying rate for one Euro is 144 rupees 42 paisa, with a selling rate of 145 rupees 07 paisa.
This marks an increase from yesterday’s buying rate of Rs 144.84 paise and a selling rate of Rs 145.49 paise.
The buying rate for one US dollar today stands at 132 rupees 62 paisa, with a selling rate of 133 rupees 22 paisa.
Contrastingly, the buying rate for one US dollar yesterday was 132 rupees 32 paisa, and the selling rate was 132 rupees 92 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is set at 36 rupees 36 paisa, while the selling rate is 36 rupees 52 paisa.
This represents a slight increase from Tuesday’s buying rate of 36 rupees 29 paisa and a selling rate of 36 rupees 46 paisa.
For one Kuwaiti dinar, the buying rate today is 430 rupees 81 paisa, and the selling rate is 432 rupees 90 paisa.
In contrast, yesterday’s rates were 430 rupees 55 paisa for buying and 432 rupees 50 paisa for selling.
Today’s fixed buying rate for one British pound is 167 rupees 58 paisa, and the selling rate is 168 rupees 34 paisa.
This is a slight decrease from yesterday’s buying rate of 168 rupees 43 paise and a selling rate of 169 rupees 19 paise.
Likewise, the buying rate for 1 Australian dollar today is 87 rupees 55 paisa, with a selling rate of 87 rupees 95 paisa.
In comparison, yesterday’s buying rate was 88 rupees 18 paise, and the selling rate was 88 rupees 58 paise.
