KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has reported that the monsoon system is currently affecting the eastern part of the country.
Other regions are experiencing partial influence from local wind, westerly wind, and a low-pressure area around Bihar, India.
According to the Division, light rain with thunder is occurring in some parts of Bagmati, Koshi, Gandaki, and Madhesh provinces.
This afternoon, these provinces will be partly to mostly cloudy.
Light to moderate rain with lightning is possible in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as parts of the Madhesh Province.
Tonight, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, including Koshi and Madhesh, and one or two places in the remaining areas.
