Petrol to cost Rs 165 per liter from today



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petroleum products with effect from today.

According to the NOC, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 3 per litre, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been lowered by Rs 1 per litre.

A meeting of the NOC Board of Directors decided to implement the new prics effective from midnight today.

With this reduction, the price per litre of petrol is now Rs 162.5 in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.

In Surkhet and Dang, petrol will cost Rs 164 per litre, while in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, it will be sold at Rs 165 per litre.

Similarly, the price per litre of diesel and kerosene is now Rs 149.5 in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.

In Surkhet and Dang, the price is Rs 151 per litre, and in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 152 per litre, according to the NOC.
