KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a mix of local and westerly winds currently influencing Nepal’s weather patterns.

In hilly areas such as Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, the skies are predominantly clear, according to the Division.

However, isolated areas in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, and Karnali are experiencing light rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and gusty winds.

Later in the afternoon, the weather is expected to be clear in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Nevertheless, there’s a chance of sporadic thunderstorms and gusty winds in Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Moreover, there’s a slight probability of light snowfall in select high hills and Himalayan areas of Gandaki province.

Tonight, the weather is anticipated to stay predominantly clear in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali regions, including the Koshi Province.
