A truck catches fire in Kailali district



KATHMANDU: A truck caught fire in Kailali district on Saturday.

The incident occurred on the Bardagoriya-4 section of the East West Highway.

According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the truck bearing license plate Province 3 03001 Kha 0012, which was en route to Dhangadi, caught fire.

The truck was transporting lighters, chillies, and baby diapers.

The fire was brought under control with the assistance of locals and local authorities.

However, the extent of damage and loss is yet to be confirmed.
