Winter session of Lumbini Province Assembly prorogued from midnight



TULSIPUR: The winter session of Lumbini Province Assembly has been prorogued from last midnight.

Province Chief Amik Sherchan prorogued the winter session of the assembly effective from Friday midnight.

According to Province Assembly Secretary, Durlav Kumar Pun, the temporary discontinuation of the assembly session came in line with Article 183 (2) of the constitution.

The winter session witnessed business for only three days.

Province government spokesperson Santosh Pandey informed that the session was stopped in the absence of any business.
