Four people arrested with fake currency notes in Dang



DANG: Four individuals were arrested last night for possessing 12 counterfeit Nepali 1000-rupee notes.

The arrested individuals include Ram Mani Chaudhary of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-10, a 17-year-old juvenile from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-8; Dhan Bahadur Khatri from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-9; and another 17-year-old juvenile from Shantinagar Rural Municipality-4, who resides in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-9, Beluwa.

Acting on a tip-off, police from the Tulsipur Area Police Office conducted a search and found the counterfeit currency. The suspects were subsequently arrested.

The police have stated that an investigation is underway.
