Bagmati province announces Rs 64.54 billion budget for FY 2024/25



KATHMANDU: Bagmati Province has unveiled a budget of Rs 64.54 billion for the fiscal year 2024/25.

Finance Minister Jaganath Thapaliya presented the budget during the provincial assembly meeting on Saturday.

The budget allocates Rs 26.10 billion for recurring expenditures, Rs 37.93 billion for capital expenditures, and Rs 1.50 billion for fiscal management.

This new budget is almost Rs 5 billion more than the budget for the current fiscal year.
