Laws on children’s rights should be implemented: Vice President

KATHMANDU: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has laid emphasis on the implementation of the provisions stated in the Constitution of Nepal relating to children’s rights.

In a message today on the occasion the National Children’s Day, 2081, the Vice President has extended his congratulations and best wishes with deep affection to Nepali children.

Yadav said that this occasion should be construed as a moment to internalize the physical, mental and moral values of the children.

The programs to be organized on the occasion of National Children’s Day would help arouse awareness on child rights, the Vice President stated in his message.

Vice President Yadav has said that the relevance and meaning of this Day was crucial to ensure progress in the children’s status, make their future bright and spread the message of children’s importance in the country.

He has also urged one and all to consider the fact that the country’s development could be affected in case of the country’s children are weak, poor and malnourished adding that the country’s bright future lies on the bright future of the children.
