3 Nepalis killed in road accident in Kuwait



KUWAIT: Three Nepalis lost their lives in a road accident in Kuwait.

The Nepali nationals working in a company died in a collision on a road in the Mahabulla area of Kuwait on Tuesday.

The Nepali Embassy in Kuwait confirmed the news, stating that the fatal accident occurred when a speeding car struck them on the roadside when the three youths were crossing the road.

The identities of the deceased have been disclosed Surat Bahadur Kathayat from Achham, Sujan Karki from Kathmandu, and Dhiraj Gurmachan Magar from Dhanusha.

They were colleagues employed in the same company in Kuwait.

The car driver has been arrested, and the bodies have been transferred to a hospital for post-mortem examination.

Measures are being taken to repatriate the bodies to Nepal and to facilitate insurance processes for the deceased.
