JHAPA: Three people died and two others were injured in two high-speed motorcycle accidents in Jhapa.

Two youths lost their lives in road incidents in Kamal Rural Municipality and Mechinagar Municipality last night and this morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishan Kumar Chand reported that two youths died when motorcycle went out of control on the East-West Highway in Kamal Rural Municipality, specifically in Amaldangi-4.

The deceased are 33-year-old Anil Kumar Limbu and 20-year-old Somraj Limbu, both residents of Shivasatakshi Municipality, Ward No. 8 of Jhapa.

“Limbu, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Damak Hospital by the police for treatment, where doctors later declared him dead,” DSP Chand said.

Following the accident, a police team from the Kerkha Police Station transported the victims to the hospital.
