KATHMANDU: Health Minister Pradip Paudel has announced plans to establish Human Organ Transplant Centers in all seven provinces of Nepal.

During an event at the Shahid Dharma Bhakta National Transplant Center in Bhaktapur, organized to mark World Organ Donation Day, Minister Paudel emphasized that this initiative is part of his recently unveiled work plan.

“The initiative will begin soon in Koshi Province,” he stated, adding that the new transplant centers will operate as branches of the Shahid Dharma Bhakta National Transplant Center.

Minister Paudel also took the opportunity to honor organ donors at the event, highlighting the importance of organ donation and the need for accessible transplant services across the country.
