Youth policy in Karnali Province soon: Minister Bhandari

KARNALI: Minister for Social Development in Karnali Province, Ghanashyam Bhandari, has said the province government was all set to bring a youth policy.

Minister Bhandari said youth policy was essential for mobilizing and managing youths in addition to utilization of their skills and competence.

The province government was planning to bring the youth policy in order to encourage them in entrepreneurship within country.

The government is for the policy in the wake of exodus of youths.

On a different note, he informed that gender and sexual monitories and visually impaired people would be ensured incentives from the provincial education policy.

The province government is at work to prepare for the National Games in the province, which, he argued, would help promote province.

The Minister, however, regretted that the province government could not deliver as per expectation due to budget constraints.

Depute poor internal resources, the province government is bound to prepare policy based on the budget, he added.
