President Paudel visits Sapantirtha Temple

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel, accompanied by his spouse Sabita Paudel, conducted pooja and offered prayers at the revered Sapantirtha temple in Tokha Municipality this morning.

Welcoming President Paudel were Member of Parliament Pradeep Paudel, Mayor of Tokha Municipality Prakash Adhikari, and Sapantirtha Area Development Committee Chair Devraj Dangol, among other dignitaries.

Meanwhile, the annual Sapantirtha bathing fair commenced today, attracting devotees from various parts of the country, including the Kathmandu Valley, who seek to partake in the ritual bathing.

It is believed that bathing in Sapantirtha’s sacred waters can alleviate various skin-related ailments.

Coinciding with the fair, the Biska Nakh (Jatra) festival has also commenced in Sapantirtha, as confirmed by Newa Guthi Tokha President Ramesh Napit.

The Jatra is set to continue until April 16, offering devotees a spiritually enriching experience.
