RSP will quit govt if service delivery falls short: Swarnim Wagley

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Swarnim Wagle has indicated that his party would withdraw from the government if it fails in delivering on its assigned responsibilities.

During the discussion on the vote of confidence presented by Prime Minister Dahal in the parliament, Wagle emphasized that the RSP is committed to efficient service delivery and would not continue in the government if it falls short.

“We did not come to disrupt, confuse, break, or play games. We came to work. When we were in opposition, we were strong in our roles,” he stated, further adding, “We have taken charge of specific ministries and will strive for optimal performance. However, if we fail in delivery, we are prepared to step out of the government.”

Wagle expressed his party’s willingness to support the Prime Minister’s commitment to effective governance and clarified that the decision to withdraw is based on the party’s dedication to fulfilling its responsibilities.
