Five die, 25 injured in a bus accident in Dang



DANG: Last night, a horrifying incident occurred in Bhalubang of Rapti Rural Municipality as a bus (Bhe 1 Ja 3912) en route to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj plunged into the Rapti River, resulting in the loss of five lives and injuries to 25 individuals.

The victims, unfortunately, succumbed to their injuries on the spot, as reported by the Area Police Office in Bhalubang. The incident took place around 10:30 pm.

Initial investigations by the police suggest that over speeding may have been a contributing factor to the accident.
