KATHMANDU: An international tourism fair is set to take place in Kathmandu starting Friday, aiming to promote the country’s tourism at an international level.
The fair will feature tourism entrepreneurs from 16 countries.
More than 150 stalls representing businesses from 16 countries will be showcased at the event, organized by Summit Event and Market, according to Bishnu Pandey, the proprietor of the organization.
“We believe that the fair will contribute to sustainable tourism development and cultural exchange in the country,” Pandey stated.
Participants from Nepal, India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Maldives, USA, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Bhutan will join the fair.
Additionally, stalls from all seven provinces of Nepal will also be displayed.
The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) are supporting the fair, which will be held at Bhrikutimandap.
