Nepal-Canada bilateral series: Anil’s impressive comeback with consecutive half-centuries

KATHMANDU: Anil Sah is making a remarkable comeback to the national cricket team.

After donning the Nepali jersey in 2022, Anil has completed his second consecutive half-century in the ongoing series against Canada in one-day cricket.

In the third one-day match against Canada, chasing a target of 233 runs, Anil scored a half-century in 50 balls.

Anil made a spectacular start in the second over by consistently hitting four boundaries to the rapid-paced bowler Uday Bhagwani.

His half-century has contributed significantly to Nepal’s total score of 112 runs, losing one wicket in 22.2 overs.

In the previous ODI on Saturday, Anil had scored 50 runs off 20 balls during his comeback match.
