Gold price rises by Rs 800 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 800 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is now priced at Rs 144,900 per tola, while standard gold is trading at Rs 144,200 per tola.

The price of silver also saw an increase of Rs 15 per tola, bringing it to Rs 1,885 per tola.

For reference, one tola is approximately 11.66 grams.
