Gold prices surge in domestic market today



KATHMANDU: Gold prices have risen significantly today, with an increase of Rs 2,100 per tola in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the current price of gold has reached Rs 152,200 per tola.

This follows Rs 400 increase per tola yesterday, bringing the price of gold from Rs 150,100 to its current level.

Last week, however, gold prices had dropped sharply by Rs 18,500 per tola over two days.

In addition to gold, silver prices have also risen. The price of silver increased by Rs 60 today, reaching Rs 1,925 per tola, up from Rs 1,865 yesterday.
