Two held for forced flesh trade, two for vandalizing ATM



KATHMANDU: Two people have been held for forcing minors into prostitution from Manohara-Jadibuti area of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1.

The arrested are Bir Bahadur Sintan, 33, and Subilal Sintan, 25, of Hariharpur rural municipality-1 in Sindhuli.

A police squad from the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau apprehended them.

The accused are charged of coercing underage girls into engaging in sexual activities with customers at the Sindhuli Hotel Dhindo Service and Guest House, as per the police report.

Similarly, two persons were arrested by the police on the charge of vandalizing an ATM of the Machhapuchchhre Bank.

They are Shyam Bahadur Ghale, 34, and Sujan Tamang, 19, originally from Kispang rural municipality-1, Nuwakot and currently residing in Budhanilkantha of Kathmandu.

According to the District Police Range, Kathmandu’s Spokesperson Superintendent of Police, Nawaraj Adhikari, they were arrested this morning as they were attempting to flee after damaging the machine installed at Rudrashwor Chowk of Budhanilkantha-3.
