KATHMANDU: Police arrested two individuals with an undisclosed source of Rs 98 lakhs.

Head of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, SSP Sanuram Bhattarai, stated that the arrests were made in the Durbarmarg area, where the suspects were found in possession of Rs 98 lakh rupees.

Both men hail from Butwal in Rupandehi.

“We will hold a press conference at 11:30 today to provide further details on the incident,” SSP Bhattarai said.

The arrest occurred as the suspects were traveling in a vehicle near Jai Nepal Hall.

Authorities suspect their involvement in the gold business.
