Underprivileged communities will be uplifted with education, employment: PM Oli



JHAPA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the underprivileged communities would be uplifted by providing them easy access to education and employment.

Addressing the 29th Establishment Day of Tajpuriya Social Welfare Council organized at Gauradaha in Jhapa on Monday, Prime Minister Oli shared that the government has been working to make people from the underprivileged communities entrepreneurs by establishing small-scale industries targeting them.

He expressed the commitment to address the demands of Tajpuriya community with priority, urging the Tajpuriya community to take their art, culture and tradition ahead with modern thinking.

“I assure you that the demands raised by the Tajpuriya community will be addressed as soon as possible,” he said.

The population of Tajpuriya community is around 21,000 across the country and they mostly reside in Jhapa and Morang districts of Koshi province.
