KATHMANDU: While Prime Minister KP Oli is in his home district of Jhapa, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, is engaged in political meetings in Kathmandu.

Lu, on Monday, held talks with Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal, who described the meeting as a “cordial courtesy” one.

“The meeting concluded on a positive note. We discussed key issues of mutual interest and explored opportunities for further strengthening Nepal-US relations,” Rimal said, sharing a photo from the meeting.

“We expressed our gratitude for the continued partnership and cooperation between our two countries.”
