Nepal scores 64 runs in powerplay, loses one wicket



KATHMANDU: In the second inning of the Friendship match against Hong Kong, China, Nepal showcased a strong start by scoring 64 runs while losing one wicket in the first six overs.

Unfortunately, Kushal Bhurtel couldn’t make a significant contribution as he was caught out after scoring just two runs.

Binod Bhandari, on the other hand, displayed promising performance, scoring 42 runs before being caught out in the 6.3rd over.

In the initial innings, Hong Kong had set a challenging target of 213 runs for Nepal to secure victory.
