MAHOTTARI: Two Indian citizens have been arrested for smuggling marijuana from Nepal to India.

The suspects were caught with 611 kg of marijuana in Bardibas Municipality-14 along the East-West Highway last night.

According to District Police Office Spokesman Santulal Prasad Jaiswal, the individuals arrested are 25-year-old Guddukumar Yadav and 29-year-old Manishkumar Giri, both from Motihari, Bihar.

They were attempting to transport the marijuana using a mini truck, which has also been seized.
