Nepal-Canada Bilateral ODI Series Update: Canada loses fifth wicket



KATHMANDU: The intensity continues to rise in the inaugural match of the Nepal-Canada Bilateral ODI Series as Canada suffers a setback, losing its fifth wicket during the chase.

Captain Rohit Poudel delivered a crucial blow to the Canadian side, dismissing Shreyas Movva, who managed to contribute just one run to the team’s total.

Prior to this pivotal wicket, Nepal’s Kushal Malla showcased his bowling prowess by claiming the fourth wicket, sending Harsh Thaker back to the pavilion after the latter scored a commendable 32 runs.

Currently, Canada finds itself in a challenging position as they pursue a target of 225 runs set by Nepal.

With the match progressing into the 44th over, Canada is left with the task of scoring 19 runs from 38 balls to secure victory.

As tensions mount and the excitement builds, both teams are poised for a thrilling finale to this closely contested encounter.
