Police chiefs replaced in seven districts; 16 SPs transferred

KATHMANDU: In a recent move, the Police Headquarters has undertaken significant changes by replacing the Police Chiefs of seven districts across the nation.

The districts affected by this reshuffling include Sarlahi, Nuwakot, Banke, Dhanusha, Bara, Mahottari, and Rautahat.

The newly appointed Police Chiefs for these districts are as follows:

Tul Bahadur Karki has been assigned as the Chief of Police in Banke.

Mahendra Khadka will now serve as the Chief of Police in Bara.

Dilip Ghimire takes charge as the Chief of Police in Rautahat.

Rabindra Singh has been appointed as the Chief of Police in Sarlahi.

Nakul Pokharel assumes the role of Chief of Police in Mahottari.

Shanti Raj Koirala has been designated as the Police Chief in Nuwakot.

Bhuvaneshwar Tiwari will now lead the police force in Dhanusha.

This reshuffling also involves the transfer of 16 Superintendent of Police (SP) officers across various regions.
