International Pickleball Championship to kick off in Kathmandu on March 8



KATHMANDU: The International Pickleball Championship is set to take place in Kathmandu starting from March 8.

Organized by the Pickleball Association Nepal, the two-day championship will see the participation of 120 athletes from eight countries.

Saurabh Bhandari, Chairperson of Pickleball Association Nepal, confirmed the presence of athletes from Nepal, India, the UK, the USA, Singapore, Thailand, Spain, and Portugal.

The championship will feature events such as men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles on March 8, followed by men’s singles and women’s singles on March 9.

All matches will be held at the Satdobato-based Tennis Complex.
