Finance Minister Paudel pledges to promote atmosphere for investment



BHAIRAHAWA: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, has pledged to further enable an environment for investment even by amending the laws.

Inaugurating the Ninth Lumbini National Trade Fair -2081 BS in Bhairahawa today, the Minister urged the business community to not be disappointed.

He said of late Nepal’s economy is improving.

He argued that the incumbent government will address the issues of the economy, making it vibrant.

According to him, the government is committed to boosting the private sector’s morale.

Stating that Bhairahawa-based Gautam Buddha International Airport is a project of national pride, he urged all not to doubt its operation.

Further enhancement of infrastructure is required to operate the airport in full-fledged capacity, he said.

He also took time to say that Bhairawaha will be developed as a prosperous and advanced city.  The fair will run till December 16.
