Private property worth 500k gutted in fire



GAIGHAT: Property worth five hundred thousand rupees has been destroyed in a fire that broke out in a house in Himali tole located in Triyuga Municipality-11 last night.

According to the District Police Office, the house of Hom Bahadur Dahal was caught in a fire that sparked due to an electrical short circuit.

Goods worth Rs. 500,000 including garments, gold and silver were destroyed. Police personnel and locals with the help of municipal fire engine worked to put out the fire.
