NEPSE drops by 5.58 points on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) dropped by 5.58 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

NEPSE decreased by 0.26 percent to settle at 2079.71 points today.

Today’s trading saw trading worth Rs 3.99 billion with 8,042,767 shares traded across 49,733 transactions.

Out of 306 companies in the market, the share prices of 83 companies rose, while 158 companies saw a decline in their share prices today.

The share prices of 6 companies remained stable.

The Sensitive Index decreased by 0.41 points, the Float Index by 0.48 points, and the Sensitive Float Index by 0.21 points.

Among the 13 sectors, 1 sector remained unchanged, 4 sectors saw an increase in NEPSE, and 8 sectors experienced a decline on Wednesday.
