KATHMANDU: An ordinance related to financial procedures and an order to remove difficulties were tabled at the meeting of the House of Representatives.
In the meeting, Finance Minister Dr Prakasharan Mahat tabled the ‘Financial Procedures and Financial Accountability (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2080’.
The Ordinance includes provisions such as moving forward the time period for prior discussions on the government’s policies and programs and budget.
Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung table the Order to remove difficulties related to extending the term of two Commissions related to transitional justice as provided by Section 42 of the Commission for Investigation of Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation Act, 2071 BS.
The House of Representatives will meet again at 11:00 am on February 7.
